Q. How do I know I am getting my pet’s cremains back?
A. We have a two part tagging system. One part stays with the pet and the other part stays with the paperwork throughout the whole process. Our crematory operators are very meticulous at what they do. We also offer a viewing service where you can be present through the whole process. We do require an appointment for all viewings. Please call the office for all appointments.
Q. What do I do if my pet passes after hours or on a weekend?
A. We do offer an after hours service. You can call us and we will send a driver to pick up from your home. We can also meet you at our office after hours. A modest fee will be added to all after hours services. Or, you can take your pet to the nearest 24 hour clinic and we will pick them up from there the next business day.
Q. How long does the process take?
A. It usually takes about 3-5 business days. We have so many pets in process and we do them individually in the order they come in. Also depending on if you order an urn or plaque it may take longer. We do have regular routes we are in certain areas during certain days of the week. This helps us to keep our cost down to share with you. We do offer an expedited service for people who would like their pet back sooner. Our VIP service which is 24 – 48 hours returned to you.
Q. Are the clay paw prints my pet’s actual paw?
A. Yes all paw prints are hand made with your pet’s actual paw. All paw prints will vary in size.
Q. Do You Euthanize?
A. We do not euthanize pets. You must go a licensed Veterinarian for euthanasia.
Q. When is payment due?
A. Payment is due upon receiving the pet. We do require payment up front before we pick up the pet on all special and after hours services. Payment for urns are due before we will order the urn, as most of them are personalized.
Q. What forms of payment do you accept?
A. We accept cash, checks, and all credit cards. Visa, Discover, Master Card, and American Express. We cannot accept Care Credit at this time. All returned checks will receive a returned check fee.
Q. Can my pet be cremated with a blanket or toys?
A. We will cremate pets with small blankets and toys. As long as it is not a huge fire retardant blanket and we like to limit 1 or 2 toys. No beds of any kind. As these things can and do cause damage to the inside of our machines.
Q. If I bring my pet to you, what should I bring my pet in?
A. You can transport your pet in anything you feel comfortable with. (Boxes, Bags, Blankets, Beds). But just a little reminder your pet may leak after passing. So we recommend putting something under them like a pee pad or bag.
Q. When do I have to decide on an urn?
A. Urns can be decided at any time. We send all cremains back in a sealed bag inside for easy transferring. Even years later.
Q. Do you cremate tiny pets?
A. Yes we do. We will cremate any pet that you love. We have done mice, rats, birds, even turtles and hedgehogs.
Q. What do you do with my pet between pick up and cremation?
A. After we pick up your pet and make sure they are tagged and all paperwork is updated. We hold them in cold storage until we are able to get your pet into the crematory. Remember we do them individually in the order we get them in.
